Inspired by the 1811 novella Undine, this locket draws from the romance and mysticism of early European folklore — a story of devotion and the boundary between earthly and otherworldly worlds. Crafted in substantial 18k gold and suspended from a 26' 3 mm rolo chain, the oval form is traced with diamond starbursts across the front and opens on double hinges at one side.

The construction recalls antique lockets and personal keepsakes once worn close to the body. The interior is designed to hold small photographs, notes, or personal keepsakes.
