PERSEPHONE'S POMEGRANATE NECKLACE 

A hidden orb locket inspired by the underworld fruit of Persephone. Handcrafted in 18k gold, the pendant opens to reveal six cabochon garnets nestled within — jeweled seeds referencing the six pomegranate seeds Persephone consumed before being bound between earth and the underworld.

In Greek mythology, the pomegranate became a symbol of duality: life and death, longing and return, light and shadow. Persephone’s descent and reemergence marked the changing of the seasons, tying her eternally to two worlds at once.

Designed as a modern reliquary, the locket conceals its interior until opened, transforming an ancient symbol into something intimate and wearable. A keepsake carried between worlds, shaped with memory, mythology, and sentiment in mind.
