Crafted in tiered planes of 18k gold, each step rises gently upward, drawing closer to the celestial. In the 19th century, to rise was to feel nearer to the heavens, a quiet gesture of closeness to something luminous and unseen. A small diamond sits at the center - a  guiding point like a distant star. 

Earrings measure 7 mm. Handmade in New York.
